How to play Inkblock
Drag blocks from the tray onto the board. Fill a whole row, a whole column, or a 3×3 box to clear it and score. When all three tray pieces are placed, three new ones appear. The game ends when none of your pieces fits anywhere.
Tips
- Keep a 3×3 box open for the big pieces.
- Use the Hold slot on the right of the tray to save an awkward piece for later. The game ends only when neither the tray pieces nor the held piece fits.
- Clearing several lines at once scores far more than clearing them one at a time.
Modes
- Classic: play for the best score with no timer.
- Timed: clears refill the clock, and bigger clears add more time.
- Daily: everyone gets the same pieces today. You get one try per board size, and back-to-back days build a streak.
- Moves: you get 30 pieces, so make each one count.
- Zen: there’s no timer and no game over. It’s just calm stacking.
Board sizes
6×6 for quick games, 9×9 for the classic game, and 12×12 or 18×18 for long sessions.
